Our next adventure was in Grangeville, Idaho. It's been awhile since we've visited Cindy in her hometown, plus I was so excited to drop off a blanket I made for her birthday. During our stay we had a blast visiting and eating Mexican food (just steps from her house) with her boys and their significant others, catching up with Cindy (and her two cats) in the house she just purchased from her son Wyatt, exploring her town (& little hospital where she works, also within walking distance to her home), and surrounding mountains, seeing a giant mammoth from bones excavated in 1994 from nearby Tolo lake, and visiting a working monastery in the picturesque town of Cottonwood.

Northwest Trip - Bonners Ferry, Idaho
Our next stop was Bonners Ferry, Idaho, to visit Brad's sister Beth, her husband Jake and kids Bailey & Zane, the only two kids (out of four) that were home. We loved spending time with the family (and their two dogs), exploring and hiking the area's picturesque terrain, and learning all about Jake's job at the Boarder Patrol!
Northwest Trip - Sandpoint, Idaho
We just returned from a wonderful road trip through Northern Idaho and Washington State. The first stop was Sandpoint, ID where we visited Brad's cousin Sherry & her family, and Brad's sister Beth & husband Jake. We enjoyed a wonderful barbecue, (Sherry's husband Ty was the grill master) visiting & catching up (talking with Alyssa, Sherry's oldest), seeing Brad's other cousin's (Brent) boys again (who were spending the weekend with Sherry), and just taking in the views from the deck of their beautiful mountain home.
