Pioneer Playhouse, Danville Kentucky

I am going to make these next posts mostly pictures because Blogger has changed their formatting and in doing so it has made blogging for me (since I use so many pictures) nearly impossible. Breck is working on another blogging option for me so please be patient until we figure things out.

For Veronica's birthday we went to the Danville Playhouse which is going on it's 71st season, however, due to Covid 19, the Saturday we went was the first show of the season. Technically, the first show was supposed to be Friday, the night before, but it got canceled due to rain. Although it sprinkled on us a few times it never rained enough to shut the whole thing down. Also due to Covid and social distancing, they only took reservations for about 100 people where normally the outdoor theater sits about 400. And in the past when it rained, everyone was moved to the inside theater, which is not an option at this time. Before the play we walked around a replica of an old western town and then had a wonderful dinner outdoors of pulled-pork sandwiches and cobbler for dessert. We also had popcorn and soda during the play. The play was Maybe Baby, It's You, different comedy vignettes of people finding their soul mates. The actors/actresses were amazing, and the show was very entertaining. We all had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it all again sometime soon!
