Our next stop was Ephrata, Washington, to visit our good friend's Roger (the photographer) and Leanne Pugh. It's also been over ten years since we've been to Roger & Leanne's house where they've done quite a few updates to their yard including hot tub, pickle-ball court, the addition of an in-ground pool (where Leanne pulled out a salamander and also where we relaxed every evening), and Japanese garden & koi pond & other beautiful landscaping (they all did themselves). Their home truly is an oasis in the desert. It was also fun seeing their two boys Ryan and Robbie, all grown up (Ryan just returned from a mission and Robbie leaves in Sept.), spotting burrowing owls and other rare birds, watching Witnesses and seeing the new Temple site in Moses Lake, and just catching up with Roger and my birthday twin, Leanne!
