School Days

Merinda's first day of school as a big Ninth-Grader.
The start of school means the start of Football, which around here means... Marching Band!
The team hardly making it out of the blow-up helmet before it collapses on them (pretty funny).

The band kids taking up a big chunk of the seats in the stands.

The band performing their half-time show.
I asked Merinda if there was a band member missing that night. She said that the girl behind her just marched too slow.
This is better).
Now I understand why Aubrey memorized all the music,

it would be a little awkward reading the music from a lyre that's attached to your arm.
It was fun to watch yet another Manwaring march with the band. Merinda did a great job for her first game, especially when considering how tricky it is to read the notes from your arm, while playing your instrument, while trying to watch the conductors, and march in formation, all at the same time.
