Family and Friend Togetherness

We had a wonderful time visiting with Grandpa Manwaring, Virginia, Grandma Heelis, and the Wrights who all came for Aubrey and Breck's mission farewell.

The first item of business, however, was making a pillow case for Breck's friend Kirsten (first picture). Breck once received a pillow case which he has cherished, so he wanted to give one as a special gift also.
Breck picked out and paid for the (most expensive) material himself. He also sewed much of it with help from Virginia. Virginia also found a place here in town that embroidered the name.
The reversible pillow case turned out beautiful, and we want to thank Virginia for all of her help, without her it would have never come to fruition.
Virginia and Grandpa Manwaring also celebrated their five year anniversary while here. In the interest of time, Mom and I bought them a chocolate cake (their favorite), and it was just as delicious as it looks!
I love this picture where Grandpa Manwaring and Grandma Heelis "have my back" by making sure Breck is eating his cake and ice cream on the tile, and not the new carpet!

It was so fun having the Wrights and everyone else here, together.
The kids have grown up with "their cousins" Jared and Tyler, and truly consider them family.

My two favorite Deborah's!

The Wrights lived next to the Manwarings for many years. Grandpa Manwaring catching up with Debbie.
It's so great when Deb comes over because we get to do such fun girly-girl things (from her days as a cosmetologist, and as a result of only raising boys).
Even Les is checking out the cool stick-on-nail patterns.
Brittney doing Aubrey's nails, now that she was an expert.
The girls showing off their professional nails.

All the excitement, and full house, was a little exhausting at times.
The two best (and prettiest) Grandmas in the whole world!
Grandpa being a good sport and playing a card game with Merinda.
Merinda snuggling with Grandma Virginia.
Breck snuggling with grandpa,

Aubrey giving grandpa a hug,
and hugs all around,
as everyone says goodbye
to everyone else.
(Breck getting a little too into the hugs and goodbyes)
Me and my Momma!!!
Saying goodbye to Grandma Heelis.
(Aubrey probably mumbling something not very nice to her brother).

You can see who likes hugs...

and kisses, in the family.
Good thing Grandma's love hugs and kisses.

And good thing we all love each other so much!!!
