Happy Birthday ...

Breck, Brittney, Merinda, Aubrey, & Sean!
Breck
Celebrating Breck's 22nd Birthday with Iris (who flew in from Virginia).
Breck's Birthday dinner consisted of chili dogs (the same meal he's requested for the last 20 years) and supreme nachos for the rest of us.
Breck received this cake from his co-workers a week before,
so since he was burned-out on cake (is that possible?) he requested Blue Bell Two-step (a mixture of Oreo and cookie dough) ice cream for his birthday dessert.
We didn't have the right candles (some things never change) so we improvised with an up-side-down 3.

Brittney
I got to celebrate Brittney's 26th birthday with her this year while I was in Utah.
(awesome birthday card that lights up and plays "happy birthday" when you blow on the candles!)
We celebrated her birthday with Mom and Sean's family at his parent's house.

Sean lighting the candles on the chocolate cake from Costco (which Brittney had been craving for months).
Singing and blowing out the candles!
(those in attendance: Mom, Sean's parents, dog, sister, brother-in-law, and Sean's adorable nephews)

Aubrey
Aubrey's friend MacKenzie made this wonderful cake from scratch for Aubrey's 24th birthday!
Aubrey's good friends from high school (who are the sweetest!) threw her a birthday/going-away party!

Merinda & Aubrey
Poor Merinda and Aubrey, the last few years they've had to share their birthday celebrations since Aubrey's been at school on her actual birthday.
Good thing they both like the same foods and were happy with pizza for their birthday dinner and strawberry cheesecake for dessert.
Once again we did not have the right candles so it was 30 plus 2 which is ten less than their combined ages of 18 and 24 (it would have been so much easier to just buy the right numbers!).
But that's life when you live with a Mamma who is crazy!
These girls even shared Liz (who came baring birthday gifts), as their best friend this summer! I would have shared Liz too, but three people sharing one BFF is a little much.

I also don't feel bad because the birthday celebrations continued as we drove out west to drop the girls off at BYU-I. I treated them to amazing pizza at Old Chicago Pizza in Hays Kansas,
and Mom treated them to Purple Turtle and Crumbl Cookie in Utah.

(Sean & Brittney look like proud parents in this picture)
Even Brittney and Sean showered the girls with all these wonderful birthday gifts for college ...

... and white chocolate raspberry Nothing Bundt Cake

Sean
We also gave Sean his birthday card and gift early since we weren't going to be around on his actual birthday (which is going to be quite the day from listening to Brittney).
I think Sean liked his shirt from Nordstrom Rack
and we all liked the cake and ice cream!!!
