Home for the Holidays - Rexburg & Idaho Falls, Idaho

Our next stop was Rexburg, Idaho for Aubrey's graduation!
Aubrey's waited for this moment for a long time!
I took lots of pictures of her entire walk just because I could...
The most important dignitary, Brother Bennion
Our proud graduate!
Proud father
and proud mamma!
Congratulations and hugs all around...
Aubrey was Brother Bennion's TA,
and according to Aubrey, her "only friend" that last semester (which was okay because she didn't have any free time to do anything with anyone anyway).
And of course we had to take pictures in front of the Manwaring building, who's namesake is a distant relative of Brads.
Unfortunately, Merinda was unable to make it to Aubrey's graduation because she was finishing up her finals.
We really are proud of Aubrey for all her hard work in scrambling to get everything done the last semester, and for not giving up!
It was also so good to see and visit with Breck & Iris again, and I was so glad they would be spending Christmas with us in Utah as well.
Beautiful Rexburg Temple at night!
After graduation we went to The Hickory for dinner, Aubrey's favorite restaurant in Rexburg. We also helped the girls get all packed up since they would both be spending Christmas with us in Utah before flying back to KY (Merinda) and moving to Ogden to finish up student teaching (Aubrey).

While in Rexburg we also had lunch on the taco bus ...

that served delicious cheap tacos (and thankfully had space heaters which we are literally sitting on top of).

I also got to visit my friend and fellow nursing student (from Ricks collage about 30 years ago) Diane, and her husband Chet,
and my longtime childhood friend Pam, and roommate also during the Rick's era, who now lives in Idaho Falls.
(I so love these ladies!!!)

Beautiful Idaho Falls Temple at night!
