More Wedding Bells

While visiting Utah over Christmas, we were lucky enough to go to Wesley and Molly's wedding in the Payson Temple (just fyi: my father grew up in Santaquin, Utah, and graduated from Payson High School). Wesley is like a son to us, and Aubrey actually lived with Molly for six months during her mission trip to Chile.
Heather Zwygart took the wedding pictures. The Zwygarts actually moved to Utah from Kentucky a few years ago, and it was so nice to see them again! Also in the picture is Austin who is mingling with his cousins from Utah.

Veronica still determined to take some of her own pictures
 Molly's sister
Molly's aunt and friends
Rex with his and Veronica's extended families
and my cutie girls, all waiting for the married couple to come out the Temple doors ...
It can be a little awkward just standing there while everyone is taking pictures, so Wesley decides to spin Molly around and around, and then around and around some more!

They finally came down the stairs (maybe a little dizzy)
where Wesley dips Molly,
and gives her a nice big kiss! (good job Wesley! what good photo ops!)
The couple then leads the way to the back of the Temple where more photos are taken in front of the fountain. For a Texas girl, Molly was pretty tough! Even though it was a bright, sunny day, the temperatures were still in the low thirties!
Beautiful pictures in front of the fountain ...
The couple with the Holt family
The couple with Rex and Veronica
The couple with Rex and Veronica, and Molly's mother
 The couple with Rex's parents
 The couple with Molly's family
The couple with the wedding line, in their matching wedding colors
Seems like the guys need some training on how to hold a damsel in distress (except for Wesley and Austin, who did a great job of keeping Molly comfortable while suspended in the air!)
The couple with their extended families
Heather (far left) trying to gather all the guests for a group picture
I just had to snap a quick photo myself, before jumping in the picture!
Veronica visiting with the missionary who converted her family many years ago in Bolivia
Left, Veronica's brother talking with Wesley's old mission companion and family
Right, Rex's little brother and family
Brad catching up with Danny, Veronica's little brother
Always a good time talking with Rex, but it's a little surreal doing in Utah when he is our bishop back in Kentucky!
The kids enjoying the opportunity to catch up with one another
Heather with husband/assistant Tim, walking through the beautifully decorated reception center
 Veronica and her in-laws
Another view of the venue, and of course my beautiful girls ... Brittney & Aubrey,
  and Merinda & Iris!
 Time to cut the cake!
Luckily, there was no cake-smashing in the face (they're too classy for that anyway)
Wesley giving a thumbs up on the cake, which was very delicious I might add, and so was lunch, which included pulled pork sandwiches, and a delicious salad
Time for the couple to leave on their honeymoon ... in a car that had not even been decorated! Either the best men were slackers, or just too nice!
Watching Wesley and Molly drive away felt like another chapter ending in my book of life. It will be interesting to see what the future brings, but one thing we're sure of...there will be many more weddings to come!
