Home for the Holidays IV

Christmas in Idaho

Buhl, Idaho

We also had a great time visiting with Brad's side of the family in Idaho.
Dinner and family gathering at Grandpa Manwaring and Virginia's house
with Blake, Lynn, and families.

The kids had a great time playing games with Grandpa.
I'm not sure the point behind this card game...

but the kids sure had blast playing it!

We enjoyed visiting and exercising with Blake and Josie during our stay. (We also loved soaking in the hot springs, and hour message!)
Merinda getting pumped up to watch Star Wars.

Brad, Brittney, and I practicing our duck-face selfies.

Merinda was in heaven with all the people that were willing to play card games with her.
It was also so nice to catch up with Vicki, Becky and families.
Emma is the youngest grandchild, and enjoys the constant attention (but who can resist - she is just too cute!)

Merinda playing cards, once again, with her cousin Dallin.
Even Emma had to be like everyone else and play with her cards.

Twin Falls, Idaho

Our second to last night in Idaho, we had one more family gathering at Blake and Josie's house in Twin Falls with Grandpa and Virginia, Blake, Vicki, Becky, Kim, Lynn, and families.

Merinda felt right at home playing games with her boy cousins Dallin, Jack, Sam, Garrett, Brady, and Adam.
Interesting to see how the older people visit compared with the younger.
Kim, Eva, and Alyssa.

Grandpa, Eva, Blakely, and Garrett.
Kim and her youngest, Spencer (Will and Luke stayed home in Garland, Utah with dad Lampee).
Scott and Brad in a deep conversation.
Vicki and Dallin (with Alyssa going away to BYU-I, Dallin will soon be an only child).
 Good food, and good conversation!
Blakely will also be going to BYU-I this winter.
Josie, Shawn, and Emma (and all her cuteness, once again).
It was so nice to see and visit with everyone again, the only thing that would of made it better is if Brian and Beth's families could of been there.
Gathering one last time for words of wisdom from Grandpa (which were amazingly short).

And one last wrestle. We had such a great time in Idaho, we want to thank Grandpa and Virginia, Blake and Josie for making it happen!

West Ogden, Utah

New Years Eve we drove back to Utah and stayed overnight in Ogden before flying to Kentucky early New's Year Day.

We enjoyed visiting with Brad's cousins Michelle and Antoinette (and Brady). It's times like these that I wished we lived closer to family!!!
