On January 15, 2019 Brittney and Sean got engaged, exactly one year from their very first date.
Brittney and Sean had a nice winter together going to movies & out to eat,
getting their favorite ice cream,
going to events together like the Festival of the Trees,
and enjoying the beautiful mountains in the wintertime.
So naturally, Sean wanted to do some of their favorite things the day he proposed.
In the morning they went snow-shoeing in the mountains,
went to a matinee in the afternoon,
and then had a romantic dinner at The Roof restaurant in Salt Lake (that has a beautiful view of the Salt Lake Temple).
When they entered the restaurant these roses (from Sean) were sitting on their table.
Brittney and Sean's first date was actually at Temple Square where Sean greeted her with flowers outside the Joseph Smith building. They then sat on a bench to talk and get to know each other. Sean proposed to Brittney on that same bench as they relived the memory of their first date together.
Brittney chose this beautiful ring because it reminded her of a snowflake. We are so happy for Brittney and Sean, and we know they are excited to begin the next chapter of their lives together!
