Spring Happenings

Despite Covid 19 shutting down the world, we still had a pretty decent Spring. Some of the highlights were ...
eating an amazing authentic Irish meal for Saint Patrick's Day, that our friend's Bernie and Eddie Bolton prepared! (above)
Sean and Brittney getting out of the house by taking drives up the canyon on Sean's new motorcycle! (Brittney all decked-out in leather riding gear and super fancy helmet)
Merinda giving Aubrey a make-over, and introducing her to Hyaluronic Acid.
Brittney driving with Aubrey cross-country after Aubrey decided to leave Utah and find a teaching job in Kentucky. (Yay!!!)
Breck and Iris also driving cross-country, and staying with us for a week before heading onto Virginia, where Breck will be doing his internship.
Playing Jackbox games with the kids, and loving having them all home again!
Sadly, dropping Brittney off at the Cincinnati Airport to find it completely deserted in the middle of the day due to Covid 19. (there were also no cars or buses outside of the airport so I kept asking Brittney if she was sure her plane was still flying to Utah. It turned out there were only six passengers on her flight counting her. She said the whole experience was nice because she didn't have to worry about getting too close to anyone, but also eerie, like it was the end of the world!)
Getting up enough courage to cut about ten inches off of Merinda's hair,
and having it turn out quite nice if I do say so myself!
Running a virtual half marathon on Legacy Trail, in Georgetown,
with my running partner, and dear friend Christen!
I was supposed to run the half-marathon with Brittney in Salt Lake City, Utah right after I dropped Merinda off at BYU-I for the Spring Semester.
Since school and the marathon were cancelled because of Covid 19, I never went to Utah, and Brittney had to run her first half-marathon around her neighborhood and adjoining neighborhoods, all by herself! But she rocked it, and had her fan-club waiting at the finish line with signs and flowers.
Sean also prepared a relaxing Eucalyptus and Epsom salt bath, and they all enjoyed a nice dinner together!
Luckily, we still got our swag ... a nice medal, reusable bag, and t-shirt! Hopefully the next time Brittney decides to run a half-marathon, I can actually be there to run it with her!
