Fall Break

For Fall Break we visited our good friends Rick and Alisa Massey in Indianapolis, Indiana. And it just so happened that our other good friends Manuela and Larry Anderson, from Troy, MO, were also visiting Indianapolis that same weekend with the German club from Larry's school! 

(I sure love it when the world is so small)

  (and I sure love and miss these two ladies!)

After catching up with Manuela and Larry we parted ways, but I have faith we'll bump into each other again soon!

We and Rick & Alisa then rented bicycle carts

 and rode along the River-walk downtown.

 Even though she didn't have to pedal ... 

Merinda felt it was pure torture to be squished between her two parents. 

 Knowing how miserable she was, Brad and I couldn't help but give her a bad time.

Rick and Alisa had pity on the poor girl so Rick jumped in the cart with Brad,

  and left us girls to ride by ourselves.

Merinda then started to feel a little better about things ...

Alisa especially saved the day when she took Merinda shopping for a Homecoming dress the next morning at the Outlets clear on the other side of Indianapolis. 

Thanks Rick and Alisa, for such an awesome time! You're the best!
